i personally wouldn't pay that much and can't afford that car...but as far as looks go it looks good as hell
don't dog it just cuz its a Civic, I'm sure hes not gonna lie about all his hard work...

Losers.
why dont you think the trade in value and mods can equal 18?? what because you got stuck with a car that has NO re-sell value whatsoever?
so he changes the oil every 1000 miles....does that make him a bad person....if he is for real...sounds like he has a great preventative maintenance attitude....we need more people in the world like that.......
93 octane....why not? i run 93 octane....maybe because i have to, maybe he wants to....his car, his money.....
the guy states that his car will go 0-60 in 6.7 seconds....why is that funny and rice? he didnt brag about being fast he simply stated a fact....so he is rice!? is every zetec contour rice??
you said he CAN'T spend 4 grand on a turbo.....did it ever cross your mind he doesnt WANT to spend 4 grand at once?
get over yourself.....

$12,000 in aftermarket performance products and it only runs 15.5. That is pretty pathetic. For 12,000 he should have installed a turbo or something.

I was never a fan of the new civic coupe body style. Minus the wing and graphics, I must say its been much improved. I guess I am one who just likes to keep it clean. But I will say this, if he started out with say, a '99 or '00 civic si it would look a hell of a lot better. you can pick one of those up used for around $13-14k. I almost did.

Why are you getting so defensive? Does this hit home for you? I am not going to claim that my car has resale value, I know that. That is why I bought it used! It could have been worse, I could have bought an SVT! And what good is unnecessary preventative maintenance when many of those mods will void the factory warrantee anyway? It's not like he added high performance products that he wants to make sure are lubricated at all times, it it just the typical ricer mods, exhaust and intake, and whatever else you can see when you open the engine bay (i.e. strut tower bar). I am sorry if this hits home for you! And finally, we have 6.7 seconds. There is NO way that car does 0-60 in 6.7 seconds. And even if it did, he should be ashamed of himself. $12,000 in mods to get to 6.7 seconds? All show, no go. The car is only 2 years old. You are telling me he was capable of using $12,000 on the car in 2 years, but couldn't save up the 4000 for a turbo or supercharger? He must be your friend or something the way you defend him.

There's $12,000 in aftermarket performance parts in it - this is from his bidding page

damn I didn't know there was 12,000 worth of [censored] to modify...
but still, after driving a stock ATX Civic...15.5 is very far from how they start
[censored] i'd be happy with a 15.5 run...of course with $12,000 in mods I'd expect to be goin a little faster
but hey, maybe he wasn't interested in turbo and he wanted to keep the car N/A...never know
