the duratec that was put in the contour stopped in 00, but yes the 170 hp duratech is the same as the cougar duratech.
i wouldnt bother swapping the 19lb injectors, theyll give u no benefits. read
here, it will tell you all u need to know. as for the intake manifolds, get a 00 UIM, since it got a second round of extrude honing unlike the 98 your thinking about swapping.
