Actually, Bernoulli said that the higher the speed of air flow, the lower the pressure. That's why airplane wings are curved on the top, the same amount of air has to go faster around the longer top part, so the pressure is lower, so the higher pressure air on the bottom of the wing pushes it up.
Imagine that the bottom half of the tube above is the airplane wing.
