his all starting happening when I found a hose that was cracked and i taped it back up...then about 10 miles later, it staerting this stallign horse****!Next time, put the car in neutral when coming to a stop. If the car idles fine, it may still be transmission related. The car may still upshift fine, that would be totally unrelated.
As for bypassing the AC, there's a belt listed for it right on the under hood area on the car!!!
Quick, find a better mechanic!
