1993 Dodge Shadow ES. It had the 3.0 liter V6. It was a fun car to drive until the tranny went out. Pic of my old shadow

Thats the one that had the Spirit R/T motor in it right? If so that thing put down 224 hp and is pretty rare Its even got an intercooler, if you want to call it that. It looks more like an aux trans cooler to me. I'd get an aftermarket intercooler on that thing in a heartbeat and crank up the boost and fuel pressure and go out hunting

I'm not sure the Spirit R/T and IROC Daytona engines are called Turbo II's. Those motors are all Mopar, intercooled and have 174 hp. I think they were first put into the Shelby Lancer in 1986, then into the GLH-S's in 1987. The 224 hp engine has a DSM head on it and is also intercooled and put into the Spirit R/T and IROC Daytonas. Can someone straighten me out if need be

"The engine was the 2.2 Turbo III, the third turbocharger setup CC had developed. Mopar engineers worked with Lotus to create the engine, which included Lotus-designed heads; it was the first four-valve-per-cylinder engine Chrysler had ever built, and featured balance shafts, a double overhead cam, and an intercooled Garret turbocharger. With the R/T's only transmission - the A-568 five-speed manual, created for that engine - it could reach 60 miles per hour in between 5.8 and 6.8 seconds."

More info can be had at: http://www.allpar.com/model/spiritrt.html

And by the way, my first car, which was the one before the contour, was a 1992 Plymouth Voyager, unfortunately not using the 2.2 mentioned above, but rather a paltry 2.5 liter inline 4 rated at 100 hp and 135 ft/lbs of torque. It had its uses though as a party van though.
