LEAFS of course. And with lots of the folks here modding their gauges and interior lights with blue LEDs, it seems like there are LOTS of Leaf fans Jonnie

In response to the earlier question about hockey players liking Contours - Alfredsson's wife drives/drove a black 98 SVT. Don't know if they still have it. Given that he makes more in a week than I do in a year, I'd guess he might have moved on to something a little more upscale - though I always keep an eye out for a black EO with a curly haired blond guy behind the wheel.
98 SVT Contour #1702 (silver) - traded in & missed alot!
02 SVT Focus #2686 (blue) - beginning to enjoy the 4-banger.

at $5.5 mil/year this year, and $6.5 mil next year, I am sure he could afford something a smidge more upscale. Just a smidge. That said, he may not be getting much of a playoff bonus this year..... Go Sens Go!

Go Sens Go!
... how's Arvedson's nose? (3 games seems a little much for retaliation after a stick in the nuts!)
I know, I know, small consolation, but it'll do until the Leafs eliminate the Sens in the 2nd round (if the Sens make it that far... )

Sorry to bring this about, but I have to. Any of you Leaf fans ALIVE the last time they won the Cup? Go Senators!

Anytime a known goon eggs on a non-fighter, that guy retaliates, and the goon goes after him, you will see at least a fine. The fact that it was after the game was out of reach -- WAY out of reach -- only leads to suspensions.
As for Tucker, he got what he deserved. Knowing his reputation, he probably lied that he was spat on to keep in Quinn's good books after he lost it. If you ask him, he plays hard within the rules. The video evidence says otherwise.
And Quinn with regards to the alleged spitting: "Imagine that, in our game?!?" Imagine submarining Mike Peca in our game. Imagine an endless array of cheap shots in our game. Imagine constant whining about the officiating in our game. I don't know how a warrior like Gary Roberts can look at some of his teammates without vomiting.
Kudos to Quinn for getting Nolan for McCauley, a good prospect and a pick -- essentially a bag of pucks. The Leafs have, as I see it, a 2-year window to make a run, as I see it, and they have improved their team at the same time as slapping the Flyers. Good job all around.
As for the meeting in the second round, I don't think it will happen. Don't they re-seed everything after each round? I always forget. I see the Flyers winning a classic series, a real war. I also see the Sens having trouble with Boston (It's like the Jays and Brewers -- I don't know why, but Boston gives them trouble), and then we'll see. It would be fun to have the Leafs and Sens meet to see who goes for the Cup....I'm getting fired up just thinking about it. GOD I LOVE THE PLAYOFFS!
