I cheer for the Leafs. I know theres gotta be some other leaf fans. I know there are some ottawa fans out there....

I was a Jets fan, but since there are few (who knows, it may have happened once) frozen ponds in Arizona, I just could not cheer for the Coyotes. I am a Sens fan, and I am looking forward to seeing who our new owner will be (PLEEEEEEASE let it be Melnyk!) so we can build on our FIRST PLACE OVERALL STATUS!!!!!!! What would happen if the New York rangers just bought the whole Ottawa Sens franchise.
Lock, stock, and barrel for about $120 mil Canadian.
Think about it - that's about what their current payroll is.
Just buy the Sens, sell of the Corel Centre for a few bucks, and dump the current Rangers roster, and presto chango, they have a FIRST PLACE TEAM!
Though maybe the poor old Sens suck dirt in the playoffs, I believe the last time the Leafs won the cup (1 9 6 7), I was not yet a glint in my father's eye.

Yes, but who would want the Rangers roster? I'm sorry, but no one in their right mind should be paying $9 mil/season for Bobby Holik. They've thrown too much money at a lot of guys.....Even Melnyk said so. Roughly paraphrasing, he said he would be willing to spend money to build a dynasty here, but not like the Rangers, because that's just stupid. To keep this on topic, do you think hockey players like Contours?

I play hockey, and I like Contours Then again, if I got paid to play, maybe I'd move my sights up just a little higher.  And I'm sure Ottawa will continue to dominate, regardless of the new owner, right up until about April 5th or so... GO LEAFS GO! (And last night's game... I don't want to talk about it...  )
