I had my dash replaced today under the recall notice but it is much darker than what was there and doesn't match the door panels. They are looking into ordering a new replacement for the new dash but something else is odd.

My steering wheel, colum and center console were always darker than the rest of the interior, darker than the dash even, Now the new dash matches the steering wheel, colum and center console but not the rest of the interior.

The car is a 99 SE Sport with the tan interior the steering wheel, colum and center console is more of a grey than the rest. Should the colum, wheel, and console be the same color tone as the rest of the interior or were they supposed to be darker?

TIA

My 2000CSVT has a darker tan dash. Follow this link to the catalog picture.

I noticed the same difference in color on my 99 SE. I assume that because it matches the sterring wheel and console that it is meant to. I had no idea what the previous dash looked like on mine- It was replaced right before I bought the car. It doesn't look bad- I just can notice the color difference.
