while cruising along today I saw a debadged red '03 Neon SRT-4 with manufacturer plates and I must say that I was left impressed. Looked much more aggressive in person than the pictures I've seen. Anyone know when it's supposed to arrive at dealerships? I could care less if it's a Neon, with a 0-60 of 5.9 seconds I'd easily choose it over the GTI or SVT Focus for the g/f.

With the handling package of the Neon R/T ACR built into it and a price tag of under 20K. FSVT, SpecV, and SI owners will run and hide there heads in shame.

With BPU's it's gonna be one monster of a car.

Glad to hear its better looking in person, those bug eye "HI" headlights wit the hood scoop left me wondering about the designer confused

Did you see a red one? I've seen the same guy twice cruising down Main in Royal Oak. I agree it looks much better in person, and the darker color helps too.

well I just looked it up and that car's not due to be out until spring 2003. Kind of strange that there's one running around so early but you always see weird sightings in Michigan. considering that I'm 10 minutes from Chrysler HQ, I guess it's not too bizarre.

yeah it sure was red, my thoughts exactly about the darker color helping its looks. I was at 16 Mile and I-75 so it had to be the same guy. I gave him the thumbs up laugh .

Looks to be a mean little car, too bad it's a Chrysler. An ex of mine had a Neon, like a '96. Ran like **** at 50K. My Bonny had like 90K on it at the time, ran like new. Just imagine the size of the wings that'll be put on these suckers.

If, this is a big if, these cars are built better than their predecessors... wheee!

I was playing in photo-chop, cut and paste these links into a new browser.
