Nope wrong. Their is not one 4x4 where 2 drive mode is driven by the front wheels.

i concur. all Jeeps are RWD unless you pull the 4WD lever.

Agree, Jeeps are either 4WD when the lever is in 4WD or REAR WHEEL DRIVE when the lever is in 2 High. Jeep has never made, and most likely won't ever make a front wheel drive vehicle. Still don't believe me Click Here, and scroll to Drive Section You will notice that this page is for a 2WD Cherokee, but RWD is the base for the 4X4, and the front wheels are added when the Jeep is in 4WD, Front wheel drive with the rear wheels added when the vehicle is in 4WD, comes in vehicles like the Toyota RAV4, and Lexus RX300. Jeeps are certainly RWD, with front wheels being added as the lever is pulled.

You should really look into going to Camp Jeep. It's held once a year usually out in BFE and Jeep owners from all over the country come for all the events. You can go on (supervised) off road trails, theres arts and crafts if you have a wife/girlfriend/kids, theres a concert at the end, theres a ton of parts to look at for the Jeep itself. I went to the one in Virginia, which is where it's at again this year. More than likely I'm going again. It rained the whole time I went which actually made it 10x better. Hey thanks for the good remarks on the Jeep, it should keep me happy for a long time. As far as modding it, I'll probably keep it stock, it's mainly going to be a work vehicle towing the boats and stuff, and stick a little money into the 'tour. It's nice driving something with a little tourque, those I-6's have great low-end, although alot has to do with the gearing. As far as the cop thing, I am pork, but if anyone asks, I work construction....

I love jeeps! Just went off roading last night in a lifted Cherokee! Wish I had pics because we were got it stuck in an 8 foot snowbank and had to get my friend's 91 lifted Range Rover beast to get him out! Then that got stuck!!!  So here's what you do! Get a good 3" lift and some BFG AT's and then go to camp Jeep!!
