Instead of F48E-9J460_BB which was aluminum and looks machined tuned cavity for Microware radio, I got F77Z-9J460-AB plastic snap together dingus, hope it works?
At least it only cost me $37.47 + tax, instead of $72.40. I wonder if I should have bought two or three spares?????

Good price! Maybe the plastic will helpthem to not get condensation so quickly. Nice thought anyway. Damn emisions. I love my planet though.

Well it works, thank goodness for the car buffs on CEG site and Alex's OBD II software Explorer.
This one doesn't have the 8 patents indicated as the old one.
Maybe the US patent office found out how troublesome those units are.
Paul
Oh yes almost forgot thanks to my cousins Tranny shop for being able to obtain the part wholesale.

I think the plastic ones will be better (ford ones anyway) The aluminum ones suffered from corrosion.
