Well I installed my DMD and I also got a check engine light. Went to AutoZone and they pulled the code, P0305. Misfire in cylinder #5. The car was running fine, before and after the DMD. Decided to reset the computer and the check engine light went away. It has been several days and the light has not come back. Again, this site really helped me out. I think it is strange that the check engine light did come on after installing the DMD.
The DMD is a great mod. The engine runs smoother and seems to rev a little bit faster but this may be because the engine does run smoother.
