Well as of this morning I have no CEL. I had the DMD installed at a dealership (I actually think I found one that is pretty honest) and everything was cool. On my way home I am merging onto the freeway and the CEL starts blinking. From the manual it says it is a misfire if the CEL blinks. Did that a few times.. then I started this thread. Checked all the wires, plugs, sensor connections, etc and all seems ok. Someone mentioned that with the DMD the vibrations are very minimal and the computer may be getting confused cause of the lesser vibrations. So I cleared the PCM last night and drove it around.. and as of this morning no CEL has appeared.

This site is great! It has helped with a lot about my car and I hope this thread may be able to help someone else.. although I never did find the actual cause.. but maybe when someone sees a CEL after their DMD install they can at least see they are not the only one and try what was mentioned in this thread first before they panic like I did.
