OP WVContourSVT CEG\'er W Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 68 Martinsburg, WV	has anyone ever rebuilt there tranny themselves. i need to replace my differential and terry h sent me an email saying that i couldnt do it without a shimmy and a machine press. i sent him an email back asking bout it but he hasnt responded. i know he knows more bout this than anyone i was just wondering if anyone else has done it before 1998 SVT Custom front fascia and hood 17" Enkei RS5 w/Dunlop 215/45/17 20% tint Eibach springs OH YEAH and the ever so wonderful Regular 2.5L

Big Jim_dup1 Hard-core CEG'er B Joined: Sep 2000 Posts: 4,693 Thousand Oaks, California, USA	You need to get a factory manual (they are easy to find on CD) and study the process to see if you are comfortable with it. You must set up the final drive similar to any other differential. If you are not comfortable with that, you should not attempt the project. Jim Johnson 98 SVT 03 Escape Limited
