Wonder why all the touring racers and other "dieharders" have not switched then if it's so much superior! I'm sure cost is not an issue there.
Wonder why the M3 & S2000 use the same valvetrain setup (lash adjustors) and rev to 8k and 9k respectively just fine. Seems high rpm with better springs/retainers is fine too.
Even with a set of custom cams (setup just for high rpm) going much over 8000rpm is probably not going to garner much extended power curve in return. (you have to look at the rpm point upshifting leaves you at!)
You are far better off spending your money on more important upgrades to the engine!
