No actually I did when I first bought the car 3 1/2 months ago at 61,500 miles, now it is at 71K

that sounds like a torque convertor lockup solonoid problem ........ change the fluid first better yet get the sytem flushed and change the fluid see if that fixs it

The good news: It's more than likely in the main control (valve body), which can be removed from the tranny without removing the tranny from the engine and from the car.

The bad news: Working on the valve body is a complete biaach from what I hear. You are probably better off letting a tranny shop doing this one.

Thank you very much! I am going to bring it to a Ford Dealer to see if they can pull any secondary codes and get the whole story to see necessarily what part I will need. Instead of playing the hit and miss game and wasting time and money, more importantly time, I do not want to drop things twice! I will keep you all posted.
