I dunno,

but it seems to me that on the non svt duratec 2.5 like in citation's car, that the back plugs aren't as hard to get to, but I could be wrong. I know when I did mine on my SVT getting to the back plugs was a pain in the butt! In my opinion, a spark plug socket is a MUST! Also, a good pair of 90 degree needle nose pliers! Anyhow, let us know when you get it done!

Citation (se)did his and I did mine (SVT) for the most part, it tooks us 30 minutes farting around!

All we used were our hands.

why do people think it's so hard to work on these cars?

We also did our springs, took about 1 1/2 hours each car once lifted.

It doesn't matter if it's an SVT or not, the rear plugs are not as accessable as the front. All you need is a spark plug socket, an extension, and an extension elbow, and it can be done. I usually remove my UIM because I'm always playing with something!!!

Are you guys talking about removing spark plugs or the wires?

If you guys are talking about removing the wires yes the back is a little tougher than the front but changing out the wires on these cars = CAKE!

what wires have you guys been changing lately?

whats with needing all these tools?

it's usually obvious that when you put on new wires you do the plugs too, w/out taking out the plugs, you shouldn't need any tools.

Too bad the Huntsville/Nashville meet is so far away!

If it wasn't I would say throw them in the trunk and hobble down to Rich's on that Friday night. Any number of us would be happy to help you out with this.
