I'd believe you checked it out thoroughly. I know you have a very good reputation, and that you've made every effort to maintain that.
After seeing how meticulously your car was maintained at SZ last May, I'd find it hard to believe you didn't take care of something.
I remember you were offering a dead pedal with a small blemish on it, and you specifically stated that and tried to explain it as best as possible w/out a picture. I missed out on it and waited for a new one and was definately not dissappointed.
It is alwasy possible that it was damaged in shipping, in which case it is the buyers responsibility to make a claim whether it be UPS or the Post Office. Did you insure it?
Either way, I believe you that it was perfect when you shipped it, I'll stand up for your character.
