Guys, I have been posting about the problem listed below, but there is a new symptom, when I start up in the morning there is a popping sound like a mild "Backfire" that can be hear from the area under the drivers feet. Here's the rest of the infor, anyone else run into this?:

In the morning when I first start the car, back out of my driveway and proceed to press the gas pedal, my car just, well, doesn't go anywhere, it just ever so slightly rolls as it would in idle. After doing this 2-3 times it picks up a little power and after about 25-35 seconds, its fine. This only happens after the car has not been driven all night and cools down. Its fine upon warm starts.
P.S. New O2 sensors w/ Cat recall
New Exhaust Gas pressure diff. sensor
Recently cleaned EGR
Plugs and wires have ~1K on them

Might try having fuel injectors cleaned. Mine was doing a backfire thing as one of several symptoms. Plugs, wires, fuel filter, and fuel injection cleaning took care of it. I'd pay for real fuel injector cleaning rather than using the stuff you can buy and dump in the gas tank...never got a permanent improvement from that stuff.

I used Redline SI-1 Complete Fuel System Cleaner. That stuff took care of clogged/sticky injectors that had been off a junkyard motor and sat around a garage for who knows how long before I installed them. The car would hardly run before I dumped a bottle of it in there. After running a tank with a bottle of SI-1 in there they cleaned up perfectly and started throwing CELs (for too much rich correction - which is expected when going up in size, but I wasn' getting before the cleaner).

This product is the first time I have ever noticed any difference using a gas additive fuel injector cleaner. I picked it up at a local Pep Boys for about $5. Highly recommended, at the very least it will rule out a possible cause for not much money. Might want to change your fuel filter if it has over 30k miles on it, too (then run the FI cleaner - no sense in wasting it on a clogged/dirty filter).

i have this same problem. i've tried injecter cleaners, cleaning intake, got a new MAF, changing sparg plugs, and other things i can't think of right now. it is fine when it's warm out though. a mechanic told me i just have a rough starup. after like 5 min of idle on a cold morning, it runs fine. the next thing im gonna try is new wires, hopefully this will kill the problem.

I had this problem too. I tried to trouble shoot it myself for a while then got tierd of it and took it to Ford. It took them 3 days to find it but hey did. They told me it was a bad vacum leak. They fixed it, Bent me over and gave it to me without VASALINE and now the car runs like a raped ape..
