As my Cougar was almost taken out by a tag-along-BeeMer on Highway 17, I'll be a long time thnking about it before going on another Nor Cal Cougar drive.. if ever again..

That was on the way to Santa Cruz just past the summit on 17 .. when I was following you & Chris was behind me..

OK well explain to me how the Cougar people caused that almost mishap The BeemaH ownaH was a friend of a Contour owner

So don't be all up in my grill saying it was the cougar owners fault you almost got creamed by him

Hey guys , the funny thing is that he wasn't on 17.....when we left he stopped at home Depot on Hamilton because his carborator was Fuc*ed up. He didn;t catch up to us until we reached ocean street and we were about 3 blocks from the board walk....so it couldn;t have been him.....And i know all the courgar folk were never got near my friend becasue i was behind Devin and Chris (red contour) and i was the last one in line.


So who ever almost hit you wasn't him....and he couldn;t have been him on the way back becasue we both left after we stopped at the light house.


So before you go off and accuse people about who almost hit who, why don;t you ask so theres no misunderstandings or problems.

Look im not trying to start anything with anyone....if he was being stupid I would whole heartedly admit that he was wrong in what he did and it was him that did it...BUT the truth is he was no where near us at anytime on 17. I was behind Chris the whole time and i would know if he passed us becasue i would hear and see him pass by.


I made it a point to be last in line so i can get a feel for everyones drive style so id didn't get too close or too far from anyone in the group. Im not saying you didn;t have a close incounter of the Beemer type, but i can honestly say it wasn;t with my friend.

And being that your an adult,and the fact that your accusations were unprovoked and unfounded , your not setting a good example for others on the CEG or NORCAL site.

In IMHO you are insulting me and showing disrespect twards my freinds for accusing them of smoething that they did not do. Sir, you being the adult that you are, you disgust me!
Its a shame that someone of your character had to result to 3rd grade tactics.

I admit i have made thoes same mistakes before and i have learned form them, but coming form someone who (when i first met you) i though of as a kind and VERY respectiable person, is just a surprise! I would have expected it form some of the youger people in the group not you.

I apologize for you misfortune on the drive but accusing someone who wasn't even near you or anyone else till we got to ocean st., isn't going to make things right or better.

I apologize to all of the friends I made in the courgar group for this long post. It is not my point to start anything in the group, but defend my freind for being wrongly accused.

yes this was your jackass friend in the BMW. He came screeching alongside Froge while we were in Downtown SC traveling to the Boardwalk, obviously he was not paying attention and being very immature in his driving behavior. Following much too close and 25yr old cars just don't have the stopping power of todays cars. Rich and I were obviosuly concerned as many people who drive $1000 or less cars do not care about the hard work and money spent in someones $10,000+ cars.

Rich (Froge) and I discussed this when we first parked in the lot.


I'm sure Rich is just giving you greif, but he speaks the truth.

Hey Chris, Downtown i understand.....i saw that and that was stupid on his part.....but the way Devin and Rich worded it, and from devin and i talking back and forth, it was my understanding that the insident in question took place on highway 17, just past the summit.


Now i know for a fact at that time he was nowhere near us and thats what i am commenting on becasue thats what i was told by devin.
As for the Downtown incident, that is his own stupidity, and actually for other reasons not related, I will not be inviting him to any further events so no one need worry.
