Anybody have warrenty work done on their tranny with the B&M shifter installed? I was driving my car and went to throw a hard shift into 2nd and something broke, couldn't get it in any gear. Somehow it got stuck in 3rd and I had to drive home like that. Not to good for the clutch. I think the cable snapped or something. Well let me know what some of you have heard from the dealer with the B&M installed. Thanks.

Well I just check my car out and it appears that I ripped one of the cables out at the transmission. Guess I was slamming gears a bit to hard.
But I have the shifter half out, and I am wondering if I should just put the stock one back in so they don't give me any crap. Anyone have an opinion on this?

YES! Guaranteed to get crap with the B&M, mostly puzzled looks with the stock shifter.

bwa-hahaha...

That was quite a good slam on the dealership techs... However accurate...

Going in with the shifter and they will blame it regardless. (easy target, doesn't take any cognitive thought) Go in without it and they'll be clueless as usual... :p
