F1 is actually running some deals right now for weekends. I think it's $20 for the day or something, that's like $5 off.

Seeing how we have alot of gun lovers, how about a Paintball meet?
I know there is an outdoor facility near Canobie Lake, NH that I've been to.
Otherwise, there is indoor in Somerville, MA.
(Outdoor is much better though).

i actually also like Brian's idea about Lime Rock. i'd love to see the track. and it'd be great if we could go when people are racing. (IIRC, Callaway does some of their testing there as well.)
F1 is fun for about 3 minutes and then it's over. it's like a night with Elky, but more expensive.
Lime Rock Schedule:

it would be super freaking sweetness if we could get a track day for ourselves like at Gingerman, but prolly vewy vewy much monies.

I am already making plans to go to: July 12 Lime Rock Park Ferrari Racing Days - says there will be a show and racing.
with some of my friends. we could make plans to meet say near jsmith or something and head over. The roads are really nice up in that area.
as for the on track stuff there was one time that I was there and you could go on the track, but I don't remember when that was
Also who would be down for the NYC auto show?? I will be making plans to go, normally drive to Pelham NY, since my friend has friends there and it is a nice area for parking and then take the train in and walk over to the expo place

Geez, sorry I got people off on this gun tangent! Anyway, the Lime Rock thing I tried doing last year, but I was told that they were booked solid for the season and would have to "rent" time from another acr club if I wanted to go. I would definitely like to try Lime Rock if we could afford it as a club. You guys can meet here, as I'm right on the MA/CT line (for all you NH and eastern MA folks) and we can drive down together; we can detail the cars here too, I have a fairly large driveway.

well, i tried to get some guys to go to limerock last year. if u guys are interested, i go on memorial weekend. the paddocks are open to check out the cars. i spoke w/ leo capaldi a little last year and a newbie running a focus. i actually saw a hooked up svt in the parking lot. left a note and got to email the guy who said the car was his brothers. never heard from the brother.
as far as us getting on the track to run, we'd have to leech onto another club. the sports car club of ct (i believe its them) usually has track time and they take you for the day for like $200.
i haven't been to the shooting range in a long time. i like the idea of paintball too.
