Guilty of bird crap welds myself in the past. More of a cheap ass welder than an ability deficit for the most part though. Just need to find that gold mine of a mig in a pawn shop and I'm set.

Ditch the MIG welder....TIG all the way baby!!! I wouldn't settle for anything less for piping or exhaust work. And in my opinion TIG welding is easier then MIG welding. I hate mig welders I have no trust in them at all. I love arc welding and TIG welding.......Some of you guys should take a college welding course at some tech school. If they have good teachers you wouldn't believe the wealth of knowledge you'll learn from the crafty old veteran welders And by the way the only thing I brag about are my welding skills, so I'm sorry if I sound kind of like a welding ego maniac
