Is this same problem also found on the four cylinder models? I have noticed power fluctuation throughout my car, ex: all my lights flicker whenever i take my foot off the gas. I only have 60,000 on my 95 Mystique, if this is the problem maybe I can get the dealer to cover the cost of replacing it. Could you tell the symptoms of a brunt wiring harness?
