You all saw my posting about the missing my '95 Contour is doing after the water hose broke. It wasn't plug wires, it wasn't the cracked wires on the #1 injector... It probebly is a just a coincidence that it started at the same time that the hose popped.... FUEL FILTER!
If you recall I said that it misses under a load (acceleration.) It idles fine and also runs OK once up to speed. Fuel starvation due to an original fuel filter with 170K on it? Couldn't hurt!
So, exactly where is the fuel filter?
The computer at AutoZone said under the car beneath the driver's seat area... is there a compartment?
