Ill be honest....Suspension is mot my specialty....I do know that they did have to re-route most of the break lines to accomidate the lower suspension.
Let me be a little more percise, the springs in fornt are 600lbs and the rear are 350lbs....from what bilstein told me there working excellent for the track...The dampners ARE NOT bilstein though...thats why it didn;'t take very long to create the spring....Instead i am going to run them whith Konis till I can fine a Sachs Racing strut for my car that will fit with minimum modifcation to the spring pearch.
As of right now they told me that the spiring will sit in the OE spring pearches...but they will have to look at future modification to it so i can get full potential out of the springs and struts.
The front sway bar is on the car will have to be removed to accomidate the lowering....to me it didn;t serve much purpose anyways.....
The R&D wasn't done on my personal car...it was done on my uncles 2000 SVT contour.....He lives in souther california where one of Bilsteins ares is located in Orange County.
And the only reason i payed 1500 is becasue its just the springs and no struts....soo...right now thats all i got. The reaon its not on my car yet too is becaue its still my daily driver and im getting a new car later this year....and when that happens then the modifications will be done to me car and track time will be intresting....
