Man, I'm sorry but some of your stuff doesn't make sense to me.. I understand it's not your area of expertise, but it happens to be mine, and I can't make out what's actually on your car from what you wish you had.

I sincerely hope you didn't pay 1500$ for springs, like you wrote. For reference the Hypercoil springs found on many current F1 and Indy cars cost 65$ per corner. That's what I had on my SVT. Their dampers are where the money's at.

There's no rerouting of brake lines and sway bars for clearance issues either.. Ride height has nothing to do with it, the problems are of a different nature with threaded body dampers.

..I'll drop this now.

I checked with www.bilstein.de (German site) and downloaded their product catalogue. For Mondeos built after 8/96, the front struts are available under part #VNE-4561 and rears under part #VNE-4562. There are quite a number of struts listed for Mondeos, depending whether they're MK 1 or MK 2 models, AWD, etc.
