Automatic PCM won't work if there isn't an automatic tranny connected to it.
You'll get all kinds of CEL and OD light errors.
You need a PCM with software installed for MTX or get your PCM reflashed for MTX.
Project with a Donor car runs $2200 - $3000.
They ended up geting a new MTX Subframe because the donor frame was damaged.
They were going to remove the brackets from the MTX subframe and weld them to the ATX frame
but because of the amount of torque the engine applies to the subframe,
they felt it was safer just to go with a new subframe.
Many of us don't have the time, or the expertise, or a second car, to take on a project of this magnitude.
For those of us who do, this could be a very interesting project.
