Hi Alex! Just received my heat shield yesterday!
Hi MystiqueSVT! Did you get your traction-control to work OK with your SVT TB?
I am not eager to swap those LIM related parts either. Theoretically, I guess I might see some improvement with 19# injectors (and the right MAF) but I really do not expect to max out the 95 17# injectors even with all my mods.
Alex, Iā??ll bet we have very equivalent mods. My engine mods look like this: Bosal CatBack, BAT High flow Y-pipe with cat, MSDS headers, ST200 UIM, 2000 SVT TB, KKM, Dtec Heat Shield, Super Chip. I also will be doing the usual AGSF32FM plugs, 9mm Ford Racing plug wires, DMD, metal impeller water pump, and if I stay with my 95 LIM I will send the injectors out for cleaning. So far all the new engine parts are sitting in boxes in my garage while I work on suspension and brakes. There is a local speed shop with dyno (Springfield Motorsports) that I will take my car to before I change any engine related components. I will return there after for custom chip tuning. It is really going to be fun to post the before and after dyno plots! I am hoping for 180+ FW HP and greatly increased torque when all is done (I do have an ATX).
Please keep us all informed on your LIM experiments. I am real receptive to having a 95 LIM modified. Alex, Depending on the route you take would you be interested in doing two of them? Hey, maybe this could be a niche market for Dtec Tuning! I wonder how many people are modifying 95's out there.
