i bought a CAI for my car back in dec but duh i discovered i couldn't use it because of the tranny housing being in the way....anyway i just stuck the filter onto the adaptor and have been running fine since...only problem is that w/o the cold air pipe i dont have anywhere to stick my IAT either....i usually try to just rest it under the filter on top of the wheel well but it usually slips down after awhile....right now since the weather is cold it isn't a big deal i guess but im thinkin that i'll have to go buy another adaptor sleeve so that i can put a hole in it and use the grommet from the pipe to stick my sensor thru it
