I would also like to install a 2000 SVT LIM but I have reservations concerning my 1995 OBD1 vacuum secondaries. Has anyone successfully converted a SVT LIM for use with Vacuum secondaries on a 95 AND be willing to share the details. I think I also need 98 or later fuel rails, some injector harness re-wiring...What about just having my 95 LIM bored out to SVT diameter and installing bigger secondary throttle plates? Anyone with experience doing this?

I have a 1995, I've got the 2000 SVT UIM and TB. Everything bolts right up except for the throttle cable. The SVT TB needs a throttle bracket. I bought an extra upper throttle control cable, cut off 4 inches of the metal sheath that surrounds the wire...and everything works fine.

As for the SVT LIM, I'm about to tackle this project. From what I can tell, you can remove the vacuum secondary brackets off the 95 LIM and then install this on the 2000 SVT LIM. This requires removing the butterfly valves, etc.

Also....you will need to have a 98 SVT return style fuel rail and injectors. You will have to splice the 98 SVT fuel injector connectors into your own fuel rail wiring harness. This is a tough job...as it will require 12 very good splices that are heat resistant.

I'm going to be doing this within the next month.....I'll fill everyone in to my progress.
