I have the Accel coil with the Ford Racing wires...Very nice.

Hmmm,I take it that the focus coil will plug right up to the stock contour wire harness with no trouble huh?

speaking of coils, anybody here know how to test to see if one is bad? my engine stumbles occasionaly and one of the things it could be is the coil, but i'm not sure how to test it.

Can anyone confirm that it will fit..My catalog says its for 95-98, 4.6 DOHC/SOHC but it looks exactly like the accel coil. Anyone? On second thought...a 4.6 is a V8.

how exactly would you install the accel coil...is it just unplugging the plug wires and unplugging the old coil and replacing it or is it a tad more complicated? Just wondering cause im interested in mildly updating the electrical components..and would my engine being a vct zetec would there be problems...

Yeah man, just unplug the old coil and plug in the new one...of course you have to do the spark plug wires too Yeah, it won't matter if you have VCT.

I have a VCT and the Accel coil/Ford Racing wires/NGK Platinum R plugs with no problems.

As long as you have the OBD II. Everything is a clip on...
