Don't forget your speedo might be off. The stock piece isn't really that reliable. If you want to have accurate reading, have a certified cop clock your with a laser gun. That will be the sure way to tell your speed.

That would suck if it was the speedo being wrong!
I will know when I race with him before he takes the pics because he will also be doing that speed and he can check his speedo too!

One more thought for everyone out there, make sure your tires are rated for the types of speeds that you plan on attempting!
120mph and then a tire blows out!

After the certified cop tags me with the certified laser gun, I will go to court and write a certified cheque!

I have gotten my car past 125mph with my superchip. I have witnesses (I-Dom-in-8). He hit his limiter at about 120 and I kept on going. It is on that video on www.myfamily.com I believe the title is 'video to Mike's house' or something like that.

I did what you said, and the only thread the search came up with was this one. Got any other info that might help me get rid of the damn speed governor?

what you can do is do a search under his member #...instead of looking for a specific post..if you do a search by his member number it will show all of the threats he has posted on...hope this helps.
