Stevers, pretty good! I pulled the IMRC appart enough to see that the cable is flat out broken in the box! I would have never guessed in a million years. Now what? How do I get the circuit board off of the rest of it to replace the cable? Is that a part that a dealership should have in stock? Thank you for the help guys... just stuck on how to get the damn plug off of the metal housing to take it more appart. Please someone help. Thank you!

This thread sums it up in a crude manner. The plug is soldered to the PCB, so they have to come out at the same time. Try scraping the glue around it, and massage the plug out with some pliers. From there, the cable replacement is pretty straightforard. It just takes a few tries to get the perfect tension on the end with a bolt.

Thank you very much for your help... wonder why they cable breaks like that and IMRC's in general go out... should be a recall. I actually tied mine open yesterday temporarily since I could NOT stand how slow my car is, and I kinda' like it. Anyway, thank you very much again.
