Welcome To CEG. you will find a fast wealth of information here and very helpful people. I hope your problems will get solved soon. I know it proabably seems like this is a problem car but onec you get past your current issues you should look into Preventive matanence.
EX: Doing oil changes early like every 3000 to 5000 miles.
Make sure the new water pump has a metal impeller. NOT PLASTIC. or you will ahve the same problem as you did with the old one.
You can find the metal ones at you Local Auto Zone.
