Like I said before: my radiator hose broke and spewed hot coolant all over under the hood. After that it has been missing (one cylynder) on and off again. This occurs mostly under acceleration or a load of any kind. If it was missing at an idle I could find the problem easily.

I put on new spark plug wires and it didn't help.
The ignition (distributor) module seems fine and I cleaned all of the connections on it.

I did notice cracks in the insulation on a few of the wires that lead to the electrical connection on each of the fuel injectors (cylynders #1 & #2.)

Could anyone shed a bit of light on them for me?

I know that there is constant pressure applied to the fuel and there is an electrical pulse that provides the timing for the injectors.

After I moved the wires a bit the missing seemed a bit less. I think. The car only does this about 85% of the time now.

HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS PROBLEM?
