Personally I like my BFG KDW's, although when I was looking for tires I wanted Michelin "Pilot" sports, but at a $1000.00 a set out the door w/ insurance, they were out of my price range which sucked because I wanted matching tires for my snows
For looks the sidewall of the BFG KDW is smooth, none of that "ribbed" disco cladding

Then come the ratings, treadwear 300, traction "AA" and temp "A". They have an aggressive tread pattern, especially the KDW2's, those are bad ass! If taken care of somewhat they'll last you a long time. Also someone mentioned Nittos and I had those as well. Mine were the Extreme 450's and outside of the "ribbed" look they were actually great tires, especially the tread pattern and had the same #'s as my KDW's did, but at a fraction of the cost, which is why I bought them at the time.
