Splice the ground wire to the VSS. Do a search on VSS posted by me. I posted something a long time ago.

Ok, advocate likes the idea of meeting. With his mods, not to mention his V6, he will kick my a$$.
At least he will bring his digital camera and then post the pics of my speedometer here.

No offense, but since you are in Canada, are you sure it isn't 120 kph you are referring to?
Typically, instrument clusters for canadian cars read in kilometers per hour, and not in miles per hour (sometimes as a secondory scale in mph, but not usually as the primary)

further, it would make much more sense at that speed since you imply that it gets there quickly etc. since 120 kph is only equivalent to ~75 mph

Stephen im not calling you a liar but its hard to beleive...just need some proof. its just like someone posting that they had a 13.xx 1/4 mile time on a ZETEC...he would be flamed from here to japan...without any proof....hope that it works out and hope to see the pics soon.

I have hit almost 125 in my SE Sport, so I don't know what a speed limiter is all about.
The only limiter I have hit is the RPM limiter while in park.
That limiter is set at 4k RPM.

I haven't gone any faster because the nose catches too much air,
and it gets light real fast.

This was BEFORE the Diablo Chip.

Yes, in Canada the Kph is the larger of the #'s.

Should be on the transmission. Use EVTM to verify wire colors.

Now, can someone answer some of the related questions,

1. Can -20c temperatures benefit performance?
2. Is it possible that the limiter is not working?
3. Is there a speed and a rev limiter in the Zetec?
4. Is it possible to reprogram the factory computer?
5. If there was a chip installed, would it be visable in front of the computer, by the front passenger side floor area?

When we do get the pics I will post them on a new thread.
