a big portion of the snow piles in our yard were due to the wind/snow drifts. I think they would have been slightly smaller without the wind. I got a great shot of the snow reaching nearly the top of my neighbor's fence.

i wish i had my camera this morning. the snow blew an almost perfect "wind tunnel" effect on both of our cars. the SVT (which i am driving this week) looked like the mondeo 5 door.

I had flashbacks of the Christmas snow storm I experienced in New York. To experience two storms like this in the same winter is pretty friggin cool.... Even though the Christmas storm was more impressive (30 inches in 6 hours, 36 inches total), this was massive as well. Is it spring yet????

took me an hour to dig my car out today. the wind kept the snow off it pretty much. snow was up to the top of the front bumper, to the bottom of the drivers side windows and to the ding guard on the passangers side. Took me near an hour to dig the car out because I only had a little kids shovel. The amount of snow under the car was also pretty good. Also the plow only came with in 4 feet so I had to shovel that out of the way also. Unfortunately when pulling into a spot I got in after shoveling some and then decided to straighted the car out since the two cars on either side hadn't been dug out. I back out and then get stuck. I can't pull back in, and the plowed parking lot was one plow width wide and there was still an inch of snow on the ground. I was on ice and I was still spinning the wheels with TC in third. I was also slipping the clutch so I started to get a nice burning smell . The parking lots were hardly cleared and the drifting was so much that alot of cars were partly covered over.

work for me was canceled monday becasue of the snow. The snow started falling sunday at about 10PM and by monday morning there was 10 inches on the ground with no end in sight. DOT crews had all they could do to keep up with the snow fall.
I went out plowing snow, started 3PM monday and stopped 2PM tuesday so I could go to work. That was a mistake, I shoulda stayed home and slept.
About 20 inches fell here.

you know it, I like to call this money blood money. I've been saving up my blood money all winter, with this last storm I now have more than enough to buy the Borla.
