http://www.grmotorsports.com/There are a lot of cars there that should meet your needs like an 87 VW GTI for $1750, or an 86 CRX SI for $1500 or an 86 Civic SI for $1250 or an 83, 84 and 85 RX7 for $1400 (it sounds like you get all three for that price). A lot of these cars are already set up for autocross/open track so it will save you a lot of work.
