I went to an airstrip in southern arizona to test my top speed. The manager was a friend of mine and he let me run the taxiway. I had about 10K miles on the car at the time and it was bone stock. I took it to right below the 145 mark on the speedo, 144 or so. I don't know what the speedo error is/was, but it should have at least been a good 140+mph run.

BTW before people start to talk, it was a 7200 ft runway with a matching taxiway with a slight downhill section at the start and then gradually turned to level. I hit 130mph by the time I reached the tower at roughly half way. I had to have room to stop but I probably could have gotten a little more out of it.
At present day? The car could have hit the 150's. With the turbo done I should be able to tach it out in 5th gear.
