I know this has been covered quite a bit, but I can't find a few things.

On average how much does it cost? Also, how long did it take? Are there/were there any problems that arose? Are you satisfied with them?

Thanks

OH, I am looking into getting into Stazzi's group buy with the rotors and brakes. If that makes any difference.

i JUST am finishing my rear conversion... cost about 600 for all new parts, but used parts would get alot lower.

I had a quick question about it also...

does it matter how long the brake lines are? as in will that result in over pressurizing the piston and causing brake lock up under light pedal pressure???

It sounds like you may not have retained the pressure reducing valves. They go between the steel line and the flex line at the rear wheels. Without them you would tend to have the rear wheels lock up.

I believe that you need them. The factory had them there for a reason. They are present on my SVT. The valves are different between ABS and non ABS, but I believe they are the same for disc or drum.

WHAT! We looked at buckshot's SVT and they don't have the reducers so we ditched them on my conversion. I have not had any rear wheel lock that I have noticed yet.

Can anyone else confirm that that have the reducers on factory disc's?

hehe, UH OH look what i did :P

i was wondering kinger, how did you fill the gap again? i read the how too and wasn't really sure what you did...

i was also wondering if there was a female-female (lesbian) brake line adaptor, that would fill the gap perfectly and be stable and such.

I bent the line and it filled the gap. Just pulled from the backside of the frame rail because there is plenty of slack. Well I can always add them back in I haven't noticed anything other then my eye ballz pop out under hard braking!

yea know chances are that all it does is make it weaker braking, and they kinger's brakes are stronger and taking alot of the braking stress off the front brakes. cuz they are clamping down more. Just one more thing kinger, did you notice them being touchy or wearing down quickly?
