They were also faster to 60mph than a CSVT but topped out at only 134mph or so.
useless fact # 127, btcc rules allow any engine from a manufacturers line up to be used in a vehicle, under this clause, prodrive and ford used the american probe v6 engine in their championship winning btcc 2000 ford mondeo. source, i can't remember if it was fast ford or performance ford magazine that had a feature but if anyone would like to know i will look it up when i get home
