Nick, just to complicate things a little more....I drove to Stillwater and back today (300 miles round trip) and my vibration has totally disappeared. Everything is smooth as can be. The vibration started all at once over two months ago, and now today, it just disappeared. No problems whatsoever. The only thing different today was that I had two passengers in the car. I don't know what it will do when it's just me in there. Blamed if I can figure it out.

I had a slight vibration yesterday, but none this morning. I've noticed one other thing. It seems that when I am having the vibration, the car also has a slight tendency to pull to the right, and when the vibration goes away, the pulling to the right also stops.

Saturday, I did a lot of tire-swapping and rotating. Swap a couple, and drive, swap two more, drive, swap again, etc. When I started, the car was pulling slightly to the right, most of the time, and also some vibrating, but inconsistent. After various tire changes, the car is now pulling slightly to the left, and no vibration at all. So, I'm thinking that I must have a faulty tire somewhere. They're fairly new (less than 10 K), but I'm suspecting I've got a belt separation, or something like that. Just a thought...maybe it'll help you somewhat.

If you have read any of my previous posts, I have a similar problemo...

- intermittent shake (doesn't happen during every drive)
- shake stops when I let-off the gas
- Is worst, say, 35 mph and over

I am suspecting an inner CV joint (tripod) based on input here + other info found on the net. Visual inspection shows no boot leaks or other obvious wear or damage to any front end components.
Will replace the driver side CV assy, maybe next week, after I finish painting my house!

I hope it works for you. I replaced driveaxles/cv joint assemblies on both sides of the car, and while it may have helped slightly, it didn't solve the problem.
