ITS turbo has a very good rep with the mustang guys. I have been following them for awhile now. Carson is very active in turbomustangs.com. They are are about the only ones on the market that produce a TT kit for the mustang. They also did at one time Guarantee month delivery date on kits that were already fabbed up. As far as offering cheaper prices I think there using a diffrent type of steel for the headers instead of stainless. I have seen other turbo companys do this also. newcougar.org has a big thread on the subject. Do a search on a user called nay nay. I think he is just trying to push the product but doesn't know much about the inner workings.

I think it's funny to hear all this fluff flying around! My question is, who in here actually has the money for FI? vortech, SF, ITS, or any other?? I'll bet not many. Why the heck argue about something that doesn't, and likely won't, ever affect you?? just wondering

NO, cos the problem is that the radiator is just too wide and you cannot squeeze the pipes around it to get to the front. You'd have to go under it, which means going under the front of the subframe which means you would have 2" of ground clearance = dumb!
BTW that pic of the ITS kit is a bloody Eclipse, not a cougar. Lucky it's blurry, huh? YEah. I'll believe it whenI see it.
And for the record, none of the compnents that SF uses are rinky dink, like this ITS kit must be. The bulk of the cost in the kit s in the turbo, which has a BALL BEARING center. And there no way the ITS kit has that, not for that price!
Also we are using the TiAL wastegate, no some cheap sh!t Deltagate or crap like that. Quality is what you pay for, which is directly proportional to performancer and reliabilty.

that's just ignorant, this is a forum, a venue for discussion, whether you have the $$$$ to back up purchasing something is an entirely different story, plenty of people here don't have the $$$$ to drop on a kit but still have invaluable knowledge of what goes into building/understanding a good product (3L, TC/SC); some CEG'ers choose to spend that money on other things, like their families, etc. . .and that's ok

I'm not ignorant, I didn't say it wasn't ok to spend it elsewhere. I do, and I wouldn't expect anyone to do any differently. It's that this comes up in every thread. If you're all so concerned about it, quit arguing, pony up the money, and test it. Yes it is a venue for discussion, and many points about the street flight system are good honest points. but right now, there is no fact about the other kit you're comparing it to. it's all speculation. This is all based on a post about something that doesn't even exist.

price out that list Chris (keyser) keeps on listing for the SF kit, you'll see that withOUT the water to air, it'll be the cost of the ITS kit (that does/n't exist). . .the price ITS offers their kit at is what Stazi bought his for, so, I guess do the math. . .BTW, the ITS kit (from what I gathered from the NECO forum) doesn't have as nice of a turbo (dual ball-bearing) as the SF kit. . .anyways, that have to charge a little extra to cover cost of R&D+profit.
I don't know, I think 5K is a a great option (+$800 installation at their shop). . .for $5800, you get 50% more hp and torque, beats any other option for our cars RIGHT NOW. This is of course something I plan on doing next summer, take a nice week vacation in AZ, get my TC installed and taken care of. . .then drive back to TX on one tank of gas from my inc mpg.

Dustyn, hey what's up, you posted that some company was pretty much the only ones who made a TT for the mustang right? Well, did you know about TDC (Turbo Driven Concepts)? If not check out their site. They have some of the baddest TT's i've seen, and the cost is very great, I was tempted to contact them about making a Turbo for my car a few months ago. They really are baddass!!!
