I am not 100% sure but I think the fuel pressure should be between 35 and 40 psi when the car is running.
Otherwise the stuttering could be from bad plug wires. My car did this but I have alot of miles also. The case was the engine idled fine but then when trying to accelerate there was a bad stutter.
Also you might have a timing issue. there was talk about someone who was having trouble a few weeks ago and I think it had something to do with the VCT
of course check for codes and that might lead you to a solution
