I'm in. I need to do something to my csvt since I missed out on the CFH GB. I want all four svt rotors and pads w/ silver cadmium plated rotors. (all four) What has been peoples initial opinions on the kvr pads & rotors? What is the difference between cross drilled and slotted?

This is a good group buy everyone. I can personally vouch for Chris as a seller and KVR as a product.

I love my new brakes. Lot less brake dust on the rims.

Chris is a great guy who will MAKE SURE you get taken care of. Anyone who wants a good set of brakes for the money - jump in on this. I also had my brakes plated in Silver and it was welth worth the extra few $$$.

There is probably many others that could give you a better answer on the cross drilled versus slotted rotors. My understanding is that slotted give better stopping distances, since the pads are cleaned when the brake pedal is applied. Downside, less pad life. Cross drilled rotors should run cooler, but cross drilling was introduced as a means to relieve gas build up from brake pads as well as allow water to be moved away from the contact surface of the rotor. We have heard of some lesser expensive drilled rotors cracking. Our experience with KVR drilled rotors has been 100% positive.

the way chris has explained the difference between cross drilled and slotted is the way i understand it...as i stated on the other post i bought my front brake set (in black cadmium coat ) last yr during his group buy....i have no problems with them...low dusting, no cracking and he's a great guy to deal with...as i remember everyone was extremely happy with the service and turn around time on the orders....i know my order took ~3 weeks...one week for him to recieve my m.o. from soCal to canada, a week to process my order and a week of shipping the parts back to me

i haven't done business (yet) with any of the other companies we use on the site but i can vouch for chris being top notch and very helpful

jump in on this guys...i dont think u'll be disappointed
