You might as well use rice paper. I've gone into chemical/gas leaks before and the tape we use to seal up our suits is a special type. It feels like duct tape but it isn't. It's expensive too.

Relax folks. You are doing the terrorists jobs for them.

-- edit : Here's the tape we use for protecting against chemicals. http://www.wantasub.com/chemicaltape.html Don't waste your time putting this on your windows though. Unless you can positively pressurize your house, you SOL even if you put 1000yds of this stuff on your windows.

Haha, this proves how dumb people really are. Terrorism levels have always been the same, it's just now that the media is reporting it more, that more people are freaking out. They media only exists to make money. They don't care at all about truth, ethics or facts.

No kidding. I cannot imagine how some Americans would be able to survive in any of the MANY countries where there is ALWAYS a threat of something.

It is amazing how people can get all spastic about "terrorists" but then casually hop behind the wheel of their car; where they will be far more likely to die than at the hands of any terrorist.

Is this the best our goverment can do? You got North Korea saying they can strike anywhere in the United States and all the goverment can say is get some duct tape. Does anybody else see a problem with this? Yet, Bush wants to attack Iraq.. Flame the hell away!

The announcement to get plastic sheeting and duct tape is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard our government say (that is saying a lot). That's along the lines of "crouch down into a ball if a nuclear bomb hits, so it takes a few more billionths of a second to vaporize you". This government waste called "Department of Homeland Defense" is doing nothing but causing mass paranoia. If you think about it, shouldn't there be no "high threat" of terrorism with this department? Creating this department is Bush's biggest mistake, and goes against most conservative ideology. Creating 175,000 GOVERNMENT jobs is not my idea of limited government.
