I have got exactly the same problem and I am on my second set of KDWs and the same thing is occuring. I too could of easily gotten more mileage out of my first set if it hadn't been for the inside wear.
My question to you is did you find out any more information? Did anyone post a reply on what to do? I couldn't find any threads to your post.
