The front wheel bearings are "sealed" units. (All FWD cars are!)
There is no loose or tight like an old style RWD 2 piece bearing can have. No packing, no thrust washer, etc...

Also 2 piece bearings normally only hum when they are overtightened or not greased.[/b]
Demon....are the rears "sealed" too ???? I am getting a wha-wha-wha sound from the rear of the car which I think is a bearing. This post http://www.contour.org/forums/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=3;t=002738;p= describes the problem I'm having. Anyway...."sealed" or no ??
